Moosomin Communiplex
This large, heated facility is home to Moosomin's Rangers senior hockey team, a full range of minor hockey teams, four recreational hockey teams, and an active figure skating club. The arena also offers public skating and a concession. Our helpful staff welcomes you to the Communiplex for the 2007-08 season!
Recent upgrades to the facility include an additional 500-600 bleachers of seating installed, and a new TV and lounge area, as well as improvements to the kitchen, lobby and exterior doors. The Zamboni will also be sporting a sharp new paint job for the 2007-08 season.

Moosomin Senior Rangers

Word on the streets is that there will be eight teams in the Triangle Hockey League this season including our Moosomin Rangers. It is expected that teams will play a 21-game unbalanced schedule meeting all teams three times.
Randy Schiller leaves his post as general manager to assume the duties of president, Don Ferguson is back for his 24th season with the club, now serving as vice president. Cheryl Schiller will stay on as the secretary/treasurer and Les Oliver returns to the fold to assume the General Manager duties.
Head Coach Darcy Mc Dougall and his assistant Kurt Russell are both back and have a working list of players for the season as they look to ink a few key cogs to fill in the lineup. If you have an interest in suiting up with the big boys this year, give Darcy or Kurt a call so you can be added to the list.

Recreation Hockey
As popular as Minor Hockey is in Moosomin, the old boys enjoy the game just as much as our community. We have 4 teams/ organizations in town. If you are new to town and are looking for a team to play on here is a little info on each team that may help you decide.
• Monday Night Oldtimers
This team is made up of players aged 40 and over. They only play games in Moosomin and all games are intramural. They simply have ice booked every Monday night and players show up, get dressed, and then teams are picked at random. This program begins in October and wraps up in late March. Lots of fun and great exercise. Contact: Bob Mullett
• Moosomin Raiders
This team is made up of mid 20 to mid 30 year old guys. The y play games twice a we
ek including 1 game in Moosomin and 1 game on the road….they begin their season in October and finish off in March. Great bunch of guys and a pretty good hockey team. Contact: Jason Bender
• Moosomin Mustangs
This is likely the youngest team in town with most of the players in the 20-30 year range. Like the Raiders they play games twice a week including 1 game in Moosomin and 1 game on the road….they begin their season in October and finish off in March. Again a fun bunch of guys and a good hockey team.
• Moosomin Moose
As far as Rec Teams in Moosomin go these guys are the "Old" guys with most of the players in the 35 to 50 range ….with a few young whippersnappers thrown in!! Many of these guys are former Rangers from the 90's who have stuck together in their post Sr Hockey careers. They play games twice a week including 1 game in Moosomin and 1 game on the road. Their season begins as soon as the ice is in and generally speaking they finish off their season with a road trip to Minot in mid April ( however the whisper of Vegas is in the Air ). Again this is a good bunch of guys that play the game well. Contact: Dave Towler
Feel free to contact any of these people should you be looking for a team, or if you have any questions just call the Rec. Office. All of these teams have very little concern for hockey talent. They all understand the competitive days are in the sunset and they are all looking to have some fun, a little exercise and a night out of the house. All 4 teams would welcome additional players so don't be scared to phone!
