$500 donation as a result of Cookoff Challenge

MNP presented proceeds from the Cook-Off Challenge to the Moosomin Fire Department and to the Moosomin and District Health Care Foundation. The Cook-Off Challenge involved MNP and Nixon Electric, with each serving a grilled sandwich and choosing a charity, and people voting for the tastiest sandwhich. The proceeds raised that day went to the winner’s charity.

The presentation of $500 from the Moosomin Partners’ Group to the Moosomin and District Health Care Foundation. The partners decided they wanted some funds to go to their competitor’s charity as well. Nixon Electric had chosen their charity as the Southeast Integrated Care Centre Palliative Care program, in memory of Delbert Nixon.
