Community Donations
As spring arrives Moosomin Parks and Recreation would also like to extend a request to the community for donations towards the Sports Library Building. Maybe you have an old ball glove, an old set of golf clubs ….a kid’s bike…whatever!!
Keep in mind all this equipment is available to both in town and out of town residents. As such we would also be excited for out-of-town donations to the inventory.
Parks and Rec would be more than happy to pick up any donations both in and out of town.

Parks and Rec Tourist Information Centre – Coming in 2026!
Parks and Rec are so excited to proceed with a Parks and Rec Tourist Information Centre ….and would like to pass along a special thankyou to the Government of Saskatchewan for working along with us on this project to see it to fruition.
The Centre will go kitty-corner to the Red Barn – a lot of thought has gone into the center and with that we have two goals in mind. First to acknowledge and honor our past and secondly to highlight our present. With that the Centre will feature an open concept grainery acknowledging our farming community …along with signage highlight our rich community history.
Our hope is the un-manned center will become a common rest stop for people off the #1 Highway and then once there ..as the famous Chef Emeril Lagasse says …BAMM!! We hit them with all the information and amazing services our community has to offer.
