The Golden Moose

We anticipate someone is within weeks of finding the Golden Moose and the $2,500 in Moosomin Bucks that go along with it. If you have not been playing along, now is a great time to jump in!

Find the Golden Moose and win $2,500 in Moosomin Bucks

Each week we will feature a clue to find a polar bear hidden around town. Find that bear and it will give you a QR code to a business. Go to that business, show them a picture of the bear and they will give you a second clue. That clue will give you a hint as to where the Golden Moose is hidden. Each week will uncover a new clue to the Golden Moose. Collect all the clues and you will have a great shot at finding the Golden Moose. Whoever finds the Golden Moose first will win $2,500 in Moosomin Bucks!

The activity is an SPRA "Get Active" initiative and is a great way to involve the entire family, get out of the house, and get active! We will make public the last week's clue and answer so as to allow you to play along. However, the quicker you get the clue, the quicker you advance your search for the Moose. The present week's clue can be found on our town facebook, recreation facebook, and CIB facebook pages as well as on a sandwich board outside the Town Office.

Hunt for the Golden Moose: This week’s clue to find Benny the Bear

Where valiant pasts are honoured still,

And memories linger, quiet and shrill.

Not a place for play, but for respect,

A room where history, you'll reflect.

Find Benny the Bear, scan the QR code and it will direct you to a local business. At that business you will find the 5th clue to the location of the Golden Moose.

Hunt for the Golden Moose Clues unmasked thus far

Week 1 Clue: Not far from cheers or echoing sound, yet calm and peace are also found.

Week 2 Clue: It isn't fenced, it isn't sealed, but still its secret is concealed.

Week 3 Clue: It's close to play, yet still apart, a peaceful place with an open heart.

Week 4 Clue: It's not a store, it's not a street, but many pass it on their feet.

Week 5 Clue: The world goes on, but here it's still. Look where flowers find their fill.

Week 6 Clue: Among the flowers, peace takes hold, but the moose hidden, quiet and bold.

Week 7 Clue: Beneath the shade, where flowers sway, The moose is waiting, tucked away.

Week 8 Clue: In a quiet space, where whispers stay, Beneath the petals, the Moose will lay.

Week 9 Clue: Close to where the players play, The quiet spot waits, tucked away.

Week 10 Clue: Not a building, but a space to rest, The flowers are your final test.

Week 11 Clue: Awat from crowds, but not too far, The moose waits near where shadows are.
