9 Hole Disc Golf Course

We have so many projects coming to fruition at Bradley Park this fall and into next spring. One is our 9-hole Disc Golf Course at Bradley Park. Thanks to funding from the Professional Disc Golf Association, we have the opportunity to contract the Saskatchewan Disc Golf Association to come out to Moosomin (Bradley Park) and design our 9-hole course so it best fits into our 40-acre blue print at the park. Once designed we will have our baskets out for the fall and then back up bright and early in the spring of 2026 for community play! Thanks to grant funding from Participaction we are also able to offer free discs to the community to try out the game at no cost. It is a fantastic opportunity to get some exercise, socialize and play a very challenging game regardless of your level!

Disc Golf Clinic

For those looking to get some expertise on playing the game, we have more exciting news as Disc Golf Saskatchewan staff will be out to run a one-day “How to Play” clinic in September. Thanks to a generous grant by Zone 1 for Sport, Culture and Recreation, this clinic will be offered to the public at no cost. Free course, free discs, free clinic, you can’t beat that! We do not have the exact date as we are waiting for Sask Disc Golf to choose that, regardless if you would like to sign up please email msmn.rec.brd@sasktel.net or you can phone 435-7578 and I will be glad to add you to the list!

Outdoor Dog Park

Thanks to the generous support of “Community Acres Crop Project” we are excited to announce we are proceeding with the fencing for our outdoor off leash dog park this fall. The park, called “Westpoint Dog Park,” will go on the South West Corner of Bradley Park. This Dog Park includes 120,000 square feet of area. For this year we will just fence the perimeter and entrance to the park. Our plan is to split it in 2026 to make a big dog/ small dog park area. In addition we will look to add lighting, benches , toys etc. If you have any ideas for the park, by all means please pass them along!

Outdoor Dog Park Parking Three Cheers for Keith Turpie!

Parks and Recreation would like to thank Keith Turpie for making some of his land available in order for us to put in parking spots by our Dog Park. This area will allow us to put in around eight parking spots south of the park for people to park and then walk over to the Dog Park entrance

Trade Show Season

If you are a fan of trade shows we have three great opportunities for you this fall, they include:

Sportsplex – 2025 /2026

Excited about the 2025/2026 Sportsplex season. We are looking to open at the end of October and run through to Mid April. Looking at multiple upgrades before we open up for the winter!

  • JD Bowling (Winnipeg) was in town last week making repairs to our bowling lanes. Last year was trying as we had several down for extended periods so hoping we can get them running smoother this winter!

  • Billiards - we have finally got our hands on the Dynamo 4x8 slate table we have been looking for. Gould Billiard and Patio will be here this week to replace the felt and the table should be pretty much pristine when we open for the winter season!

  • Simulators: Full Swing Golf will be out in early October to fine tune the simulators and to put guards on our blue cameras which should make for less problems with calibrations over the winter season.

Of course all repairs/updates will be ready for the 2025 Christmas Party Season so enjoy!
