We’re creating a 2026 community calendar — and we want your photos! Help us capture “Our Corner of the World” by submitting images that showcase the beauty, people, and everyday moments of Moosomin, Rocanville, and the surrounding RMs.

📸 Theme: Our Corner of the World

We’re looking for photos that reflect the character and charm of life in our region. Think prairie landscapes, community events, seasonal beauty, wildlife, local landmarks, rural life, and the people who make our area unique.

✅ Eligibility

• Open to anyone who has captured a photo in Moosomin, Rocanville, or a surrounding rural municipality.

• You do not need to be a resident to enter — visitors are welcome to participate.

 

📥 How to Enter

• Submit up to 5 high-resolution photos.

• Photos must be in landscape (horizontal) orientation, JPG or PNG format, and free of watermarks, filters, or added text.

• Submit your entries to the form below​

 

🧑‍⚖️ Judging & Selection

• A panel of local judges will evaluate entries based on:

  • Photo quality and composition

  • Creativity

  • How well the photo represents the theme and our region

• 13 winning photos will be selected: one for each month, plus a cover image.

 

🏆 Prizes

• Each winning photographer will:

  • Have their photo featured in the 2026 calendar

  • Receive a free printed calendar

  • Be recognized in local media and online platforms

 

📘 Calendar Sales

• Calendars will be available for purchase in late 2025 at the Town Office for $5/calendar.

 

📌 Terms & Conditions

• By submitting, you grant the Towns of Moosomin and Rocanville the right to use your photos for:

  • The 2026 calendar

  • Promotional materials (social media, websites, tourism, print, etc.)

  • Other community-related uses, with photographer credit

• Photos must be original and taken by the entrant.

• Inappropriate or low-quality images may be disqualified.

• Judges’ decisions are final.​
