“Water Treatment Plant Operator (In-Charge)”

 

 

Applicants are to be fully certified, however, if not already fully certified the position will require the applicant to take the required training/certification (which will be provided at Town expense) for the Town of Moosomin utilities classifications established by the Saskatchewan Water Security Agency, and per Saskatchewan Operator Certification Board, as follows:

 

• Water Treatment 2

• Water Distribution 2

• Wastewater Collection 2

• Wastewater Treatment 1

 

The successful applicant will report to the Public Works Foreman, and be responsible for the overall operation of the water and sewer utility.  (Note that there is also a Water Treatment Plant - Assistant Operator assigned for the operation of the water/sewer utility in Moosomin).

 

Resumes/applications complete with proof of qualifications, will now be received until June 5th, 2026, at 4:00 p.m., however, this date may be extended and resumes/applications accepted until a suitable applicant is chosen.  Applicants who advance to an interview stage, will be required to provide an R.C.M.P. Criminal Record acceptable to the Town.
